Submission of an enquiry form does not constitute a binding order or contract. A valid contract arises only upon issuance of a formal written Purchase Order (PO) and its acceptance by Opto Engineers in writing. All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as specified in the applicable quotation or invoice. Standard terms are advance payment or as mutually agreed. Opto Engineers reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at the rate of 2% per month or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law.

6. Delivery and Risk

Delivery timelines are estimates and Opto Engineers shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure, shipping delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the customer's premises.

7. Warranty

Products are supplied with manufacturer's warranty as specified at the time of sale. Opto Engineers shall pass through any applicable manufacturer warranty to the customer. Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer. Our warranty obligations do not extend to damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, or failure to follow manufacturer guidelines.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opto Engineers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our products or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the value of the relevant transaction.
